Berwanger’s Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) Manager software is the first relational database to support SIL Assignment and semi-quantitative risk assessment. LOPA Manager can be used to perform an initial study or as a follow-up to a PHA study done in-house or by another firm.

This import capability saves time by eliminating the need for new PHA documentation for the LOPA study. Using preloaded data for a LOPA study also reduces study length, encouraging greater focus and more consistent application of company safety standards.
